|Lady Gaga as The Witch Of The Woods in American Horror Story: Roanoke|
Tonight is looking as though it could be the final chapter in The Tuesday Knights' three-year Heroes & Other Worlds campaign, but before we proceed I have to comment on the serendipitous hocus-pocus that is going on with the latest season of American Horror Story.
Croatoan, The Witch Of The Woods, the blood moon, the creepy Blair Witch-like stick mobiles: it's as though Ryan Murphy was reading our campaign write-ups as he was coming up with the themes and iconography for American Horror Story: Roanoke.
I can tell you this: if American Horror Story (and Blair Witch) had come out before our HOW campaign began, I suspect the game would have been a lot bloodier and scarier!
As it is, the surviving members of the party - Cobblethwaite's Companions - are trapped in the mountaintop Stellarium of The Vinteralf, surrounded on all sides by hordes of demons and hellspawn led by The Yellow King. Our heroes only hope is the powerful artefact, The Gauntlet Of Angelus, that is now locked on the hand of halfling bard Harry Cobblethwaite (Simon's character).
Oh, and the slumbering (invisible) dragon in Stellarium is waking up...
And there's still a tarrasque on the loose...
