|Day Two: The Games Table|
The great clean-up of the gamesroom is coming on, although as we draw nearer to the project's conclusion progress appears to be slowing down (much like travelling into a black hole!)
By the middle of the week, Rachel had decided to expand Operation: Gamesroom to include a general tidy-up of the entire house!
We also saw this as a great opportunity to tackle the house filing system (which hasn't really been touched for about five years), which will mean a major decluttering of unnecessary paperwork we've accumulated over the last five years.
As promised, Steve came to help on Thursday.
But by then there wasn't any heavy-lifting left to do, and as Rachel pointed out only I could decide what was to stay and what was to go, so instead we took a well-deserved break.
We spent the afternoon catching up with my old friend and learning more about his interesting life as a youth worker and church leader.
